This is a tour that visits Ise Jingu, Kumano Hongu Taisha, which has a history of 2,000 years, and Mount Koya, a holy site of Japanese Buddhism with a history of 1,200 years. 1st day|Kyoto → Shima
After departing from Kyoto, you will enjoy a pleasant ride through the countryside, heading for Ise Jingu, which is dedicated to Japan’s highest deity. Let’s also enjoy Okage Yokocho where you can see the scenery of the Edo period.
The highlight of the afternoon was Toba Pearl Road, which is popular with Japanese bikers.
We will be staying at Shima, where Aman Resorts’ first hot spring facility “Amanem” is located.
2nd day|Shima → Nachi katsuura
The first half is on Seaside Road, and the second half is on Route 425, a “wretched road” called “Shinigo,” heading for Kumano Hongu Taisha (World Heritage Site).
Next, stop by Nachi Falls and then stay at an inn with a hot spring.

3rd day|Nachi katsuura → Wakayama
After stopping at the Shionomisaki Lighthouse, the southernmost tip of Honshu, head north along the Koya Ryujin Skyline, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery and various corners.

After enjoying Vegetarian Cuisine (Shojin-ryori) for lunch, we will take a leisurely stroll through Mt. Koya, the sacred site of Japanese Buddhism (a World Heritage Site).
Don’t miss Okunoin, where the graves of Sengoku warlords who were once enemies are lined up in the same place.

4th day|Wakayama → Kyoto
After enjoying the winding road in the morning, we will head to the Mausoleum of Emperor Nintoku, one of the three largest tombs in the world.
In the afternoon, we will return to Kyoto after visiting the world’s oldest wooden buildings, Horyuji Temple (World Heritage Site), and the world’s largest wooden structure, Todaiji Temple (World Heritage Site and National Treasure).
